This is in many ways a sad day as we say goodbye to all the 1 week villagers. But we all part promising to meet again. At our closing we honored our nurse Andrea who was celebrating her 20th year on staff at clv.

After middagsmaden some depart for the German village where we wil get a tour of the “biohaus“. The Biohaus is a showcase building that displayes a variety of ways in which energy can be conserved in a building. As a figure of merit  this house uses only 15% of the energy that a comparable 2009 built-to-code minnesota building would conserve.

The activities program today is a preparation for a play we will be working on through the next week – serious business this one.
